Paint Tech I - 1st Shift

Position Summary:

This position is mainly responsible for the paint processing of components and sub-assemblies, at an efficient rate; defect free, and on time to meet customer demand. 

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily duties in a safe ergonomic manner
  • Follow quality standards to produce defect-free products
  • Perform task efficiently to meet or exceed established rates/requirement

 

Essential Job Functions and Skills include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Team player with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Responsible for reading and following work instructions, wiring diagram, and blue prints as required for processes within their responsibilities
  • Responsible for efficient set up/change over work station machines and equipment
  • Responsible for completing and documenting all required quality checks
  • Responsible for accuracy and timely completion of all required electronic transactions
  • Responsible for practicing NOAC (next operation as customer) in regard to quality and delivery
  • Responsible for adhering to the Light Corp. Code of Conduct
  • Responsible for support and active participation in continuous improvement activities (LCMS)
  • Responsible for completion of miscellaneous duties and projects as directed by supervisor
