ACCOUNT MANAGER

Account Manager - Full-Time

Position Summary: 

The Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with key customers. The primary goals are to foster long-term partnerships and identify opportunities for growth with new and existing customers. Responsibilities include setting and achieving revenue goals and completing set strategic account objectives. The Account Manager drives revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing sales opportunities. 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Marketing & Communications or equivalent in work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales or related field 
  • Knowledge of the office furniture market is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to create and deliver sales presentations and strategy recommendations
  • Travel as needed

Deliverables: 

  • Achieve annual sales and profitability targets in designated strategic accounts
  • Drive new business – with both new and existing customers
    • Identify and research potential new customers and sales opportunities
    • Conduct sales presentations to showcase LightCorp products and value propositions to existing and potential customers
  • Create and manage sales proposals, contracts, and agreements
  • Manage customer business, including product assortment, contracts, and projects

Essential Job Functions and Skills include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Relationship Building:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Understand clients’ business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Lead Generation – Identify and research potential clients and sales opportunities.
  • Sales Presentations:
    • Conduct sales presentations to showcase products and highlight their value to potential customers
    • Address client needs and concerns, providing solutions and benefits
  • Negotiation and Management:
    • Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
    • Create and manage sales proposals, contracts, and agreements.
  • Market and Product Knowledge:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company’s products or services.
  • Sales Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities.
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
